Groups? I thought JayWood was the only one running that :O

I am the only one running AUR.  I use to have people review under me but somebody bought the URL and wants me to review stuff.  Its planned to go to metacritic when its up as ive talked with Metacritic before.  AUR as well as another website under it will be launching hopefully by the end of 2015.

The reason i stopped doing group work on VGC was because i asked people to send me their reviews privately before submitting so we can work on them together. That was the whole point, send it to me first and then you can use the name AUR. Some people did and some didnt, so i stopped with the group work.  So yes, its just me.  Though i cant stop people from using the name.

For the record i like Ludicrous.  So im not upset or anything

How on earth did you platinum the game on hard in 6.5 hours? The average completionist time for the game is 10 hours and that's including all difficulties...

Either that was a speed run, or somebody screwed up his timing.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Gears of War which is a validly mediocre game that got a 10 early in a console cycle because it was just the biggest thing released yet.

Gears of War - 94
Gears of War 2 - 93
Gears of War 3 - 91

Judgement was the only one reviewed badly and as a Gears fan ill speak for the whole community.  It was because it was bad.  The rest of the franchise from gameplay, story, to multiplayer are some of the best in games.

But your claim only to early in the generation is moot considering it wasnt the only one that reviewed so well

lol @ 10 hours. I cannot imagine what people are doing in this game that warrants a 10 hour play through. I explored and got all trophies but 3 and it took me 6 1/2 hours. The three I missed:

The one for all the audio collectibles. I missed one in an area by triggering a cut scene that took me out of that brothel.
One for one of the other collectibles. Same thing happened on the first level of the game I think. I walked down an alley and triggered a cut scene. Turns out the newspaper or whatever was on a barrel right before you trigger the scene.

And the one for incinerating people. Just didn't use the thermite rifle much. Awesome concept, boring as fuck to use imho.

So every COD game manages a 3 or the same because of online play. Gotcha.

Edit: I beat cod games in 4hrs. There's no way a cod games better than the Order.  Just a rant.

I platted it in just over 7 hours. It took me roughly 6 hours to finish the game and just over 1 hour to clean up the 6 collectibles i missed so it is possible.

Yikes. You really didn't like the game, but your score isn't far off the meta score so I can't say this review is too biased.

Well written. I didn't played yet, most likely never will, but it is in line with most of other reviews i saw.

I don't know - I see more positives than negatives.

The "plot holes" you're calling out actually are explained in the game.
It sounds like you didn't even pay attention.

Also, platinumed in 6 hours ? Really ? I finished it in 11h in Hard Mode, and didn't even get the Platinum. But oh well, you're probably just insanely good at this game.

But I must admit I agree with one thing, fighting the Lycans was absolutely boring. A true shame.

I remember seeing OP posting  comments left and right before release and saying that he saw walktroughs of the order on youtube, maibe from those walktroughs he saw he just knew how to to this feat in 6 hours. i think OP is an expert at this game.

Exactly sounds like he wasn't paying attention to the story ,  still he's right it has it's weaknesses , the good thing is they can be fixed , my only concern going forward is it's not enough to add more modes they need to open up the gun play with more variety in enemy types and better use of them , it was almost arcade like in some areas , when you finished off one group and got ready to mow down the next wave knowing they would appear through one or two entrance points. I remember  my companion letting the enemy walk past him from the side to flank me  while i was busy sniping them  from a window it seemed that if they wern't coming from in front of the barracade he was behind he ignored them.

They need to stop holding our hands, I don't need to see the the same on screen prompt's every time I do something once is enough , and in this day and age why is it that  we have to push a button some times two different ones to open a door , I have played games where you walk to the door and if it can open your character automatically opens the door it's not rocket science , same goes for stuff like examing guns etc  most of the time it seemed to be saying turn that over ,just to say isn't that a lovely model  , if they wanted you to examine for something important that could happen automatically.

I liked the game but must admit dissapointment not because I thought is was terrible like some people  (my score 7 )but because it had the potential to be so much better , I just hope that if there is a sequel they do it justice.
