I don't know if anyone else has done this, but since I've joined VGChartz, it's become a habit of mine to randomly look up games/franchises in the database and see what their sales history is. In fact, I just did this with the Ratchet & Clank series and was surprised to learn that Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters for the PSP is the best selling entry in the franchise. I really expected one of the PS2 or PS3 games to have that title.

Has anyone else found data that surprised them?

Tomodachi Life... Like, its almost at 4 million... What in the actual fuck?

Mario Party, every single one of em is under 3 million except MArio Party 8 and Mario Party DS, both of which with over 8 million. Mario Party DS almost triple third place's 2.98M with its 8.88M

LBP 3 on PS4.. game was like sub 40K and then next day well over a million.

I'm more often impressed by how wrong some vgchartz data can be.

Well today I found out Sonic 06 sold over 2 million copies...

Was it ever confirmed how that happened? Was it because of bundles?

Yeah I think the majority was bundles on BF. Still an impressive spike nonetheless. 

Daxter sold more than any of the Jak games

I don't think so. Half the sales in the US came after BF.
