With Rockstar Logo on it, everything has a lot of potential as a series. Remember, Red Dead Redemption is the second part on the Red Dead franchise.

Word of mouth for RDR is excellent, the first game sold very well, and Rockstar's reputation is even better thanks to GTA 5. RDR2 has all it needs to sell a ridiculously huge amount of copies. Not GTA 5 levels, but I can definitely see 20 million.
