Best - Super Nintendo.

Worst - N64. Was going to put Wii U, but it's only been 2 years.

How anyone can put the Wii U over the Snes is far beyond my understanding. I mean honestly...

Too many young 'uns here, lol. The Super NES days were the best. Nintendo was the center of the gaming universe. Now they're just kind of like a foot note or side show in the console business. It's sad. They've become outsiders in the business they created.

SNES > Wii > N64 > NES > GCN

Wii U is on course to end up between Wii and N64.

SNES > N64 > GC > NES > Wii > Wii U

As for the NES being better than both Wii's... Hey it saved to Video game industry... That's gotta count for something

It's a close one between the super nintendo and WiiU. The SNES takes the cake though, too many great classics.

I voted for SNES. I honestly don't understand why the GC is held in such high esteem. I didn't dislike it, but it really wasn't that great. I'm sure people just vote for the system that lines up with their childhood.

Unbiased choice: Super Nintendo

It's just fact. In the mid-90's, the SNES was up against several consoles more powerful than it, but gloriously conquered due to its software.

If there's a similar thread for playstation consoles, 'd vote for the ps3. Why? Because you can play many of the ps1 classics, from mgs to legends of dragoon through psn. Sure 'd miss games like legend of legaia and thousand arms but all the ps3 games, ps2 games again through psn and hd remakes will make me more than happy. We laready have dmc, shadow of the colossus, kingdom hearts, zone of the enders, ffx etc. if they could add dark cloud all my most favorite ps2 games are already in the ps3

I did like the GameCube but speaking unbiased SNES is the only reasonable choice
