I hate the 2D metroids. But I'd like to see high end graphics on a 2D metroid. But with all the other 2D games on Wii U it seems unlikely that we'll see a 2D metroid.

coming from nintendo, i dont doubt they will make what a wind waker visuals version of metroid.
it will look awesome, but no one will like it.
only after 10 years in the remake.

The colors are more Zeldaish than Metroid but I really like this. Love how the area and the back of the power suit are lighted from the hatch opening. If they could make it work under the confines of a dynamic game engine, which with lighting this good I seriously doubt, why not.

The first pic is just meh.

As long as they stop with the anime/japanese art style, I'm good. Metroid used to have a very western retro futuristic, 80's American sci-fi horror, aesthetic to it, and then they made the fucking manga canon. And now we get Zero Suits.
