8th gen of consoles may not have brought the gameplay leap we all wanted but for sure many games released on xbox one, ps4 and wii u have uped the graphics quality on consoles. So let's discuss which games do you believe look best. Photos for games are also welcomed but do mention whether its in-game or cutscene. 

If a game excels in some other department (technical department) and may not look best is still welcomed in the thread.

The numbers do not represent any position. Since I don't play games on wii u I am not aware much about it. So Nintendo fans do contribute to show graphical leap for wii u.

For me, its a tie between Sunset Overdrive and Infamous Second Son.

Ryse, Driveclub, Order may as well be on the rails games. I look for how well graphics are implemented with the gameplay as well as the scale, not just the graphics on their own.

Well not sure about Infamous since only saw my friend playing it and it looks great. What makes sunset look good is its artstyle the colorful approach is awesome and I love it.

Mario Kart 8 is easily one of the best looking ones. The colors, textures, everything about it is amazing. Also Smash Bros looks pretty good. Fatal Frame V does and definitely Xenoblade Chronicles X when that releases. That game looks incredible.

Pikmin looks great I might need to buy wii u soon sad its a bit expensive in my country. No mention of Mario Kart 8 that game looks good.

Ryse and The Order are on the same level. I really can't say which one looks better than the other here. On a technically graphical scale, they seem to be on the level with one another. I agree with the consensus that InFamous and Sunset Overdrive are a tie as well.

Well what I think driveclub and forza h2 both try to capture two different environments one puts its focus on realism and track based racing while others go open world with a bit of arcade approach added with vibrant colors. so i would not call it a fair match between the two but since both are racing games released on 2 consoles in competition and released in same time frame so its obivious people will compare.

PT and Ground Zeroes are the two games that have blown me away so far graphically.

Not sure about PT, ground zeroes looks good I have only seen it on a very high end PC but since I wanted to limit the thread to console I decided not to include it in the list.
