ok, after playing it somewhat halfthrough the game i can safely say that anything below 7 out of 10 is not rating objectively for what the game is but an subjective rating what reviewers would've wanted it to be. wanna score down for being liniar, having qte's and being somewhat "short"...? fine, but in return i'll score every FPS, every mario game, every mmo and every gta 0 out of ten for exactly being a FPS, a mario game, a mmo and a gta.

You're not done with the game. One of our very own users said the ending was a factor.

Also, reviewers aren't only judging based on what it is. Some say that the story is lacking.

When there is shooting, it is somehow like Gears of Wars. But QTEs and cutscenes took a lot off the actual gameplay.

Funny how when these guys do the same thing but with God of war it's not taking from the gameplay.  I've just reached the London underground and it's fucking exceptional so far. It will be a bad then when this type of game goes extinct.

Well, does God of War have the same cutscene:gameplay ratio as The Order?

And what do you mean with "type of game"? Genre?

So as a TPS there will be more coming, for sure. Perhaps we see a new Gears of War at E3 this year. A cinematic game? I doubt Quantic Dream will stop making their games.

No but in god of war you have a similar number of game locations.  How often in god of war do you spend a third of the game running around the same big area? Back tracking,  re crossing paths, respawning enemies in a little arena with lots of button mashing and QTE's.  The double standards between this game and many others most notably god of war.

Flappy bird got less hate

Perhaps God of War was just more fun to play than The Order for many reviewers?

Oh come on.

And when it comes to QTEs there's obviously something this game didn't do right compared to God of War. But then again they're not even the same genre so there's not much reason to compare them.

Just downloaded, and played a bit, OMG, the Graphics !!!!! Graphics are mindblowing. I will give more impression once I finish some chapters. Fantastic Art Design, a work of art.

Lol the flappy bird thing was a joke.

Playing the game now and there is nothing wrong with the gameplay including the QTE's.  Excellent so far.

I'm so sorry but I have to say it yet again. What's the difference between The Order and Uncharted/Last Of Us ?

One is hated for being a linear, story driven, "See do not touch" , Uninteractive, QTE infested game, with pretty graphics.

One is loved for being a linear, story driven, "See do not touch" , Uninteractive, QTE infested game, with pretty graphics.

I'm not defending The Order, I knew i wouldn't like it because of it's focus on linearity and graphics. but whats so different between these two? loved developers getting a free pass?

And I suggest again to go and actually play any of those games, so you can see the difference for yourself.
