Metascore - 63 ( 27 critics )

WOW!!!!! I thought it would be around 75 =(
No wonder the developer complained about the negativity.
Luckily the PS4 have many games coming out

Dissapointed though.

Heh. Don't play Vanquish then. As much as I love that game, it saddens me that the end is a huuuuuuge cliffhanger and there will be no sequel. :(

Oh really?, hmm..  damn..    in completely unrelatedmaybe news, nda's sure suck don't they?

Well, a lot of nda'd games found a new home here: http://www.unseen64.net/

Yakuza: Dead Souls has a 64 on metacritic. And i enjoyed the game very much. For me it was 80+ material.

My prediction: Meta-50-something.

It looks like Ready at Dawn was not ready to take on a high budget console game. This was their first attempt, so hopefully they realize their strengths/weaknesses and produce something better next time.

A lot of the comments bring up the interesting questions of game length vs cost. Should this game have received better scores if it was $30 vs $60?

If this was made for the Vita, it probably would have gotten a metacritic of 88

I think it's reviewers job to judge the quality of the game itself, and note on the fact that the game is short. It's then up to the consumer to judge if they get enough value for their money.
