The Order will have a longer lifetime to sell. TF is multiplayer only, so TF sales will die shortly after TF2 comes out.

Never really thought of Uncharted comparison. To date it have sold just shy of 5million so The Order 1886 could depending on reviews sell 3.5-4.5million. Titanfalls legs seems none existing so I will say The Order 1886.

The Order: 1886 will sell something around 3-4M lifetime.
Titanfall could also sell 3-4M units lifetime.

It think it will be a hard and interesting fight! Overall I guess The Order: 1886 will win!

Yep.

Infamous SS has only sold around 2.2m I believe and it's already an established open world franchise. Don't see a new linear IP with no MP selling more than Infamous unless everything negative we've heard about it is false. Still, there is no shame in selling 2 million with your first game. Especially after all the critism it's been getting lately.

I feel like a big part of why the first Uncharted sold so well was because of how amazing the sequels were. It gave the original game a boost simply because many people wanted to see what all the buzz was about and I'm sure there are plenty of them are like me who hate starting a series on the second or third entry of the franchise.

I also wanna point out that while Uncharted is a great franchise, the first one was simply mediocore at best. Of course the second entry to The Order could end up being amazing and we could see the same thing happen here but if the first game struggles we may not see a second one due to Sony being a little more cautious these days.

Should be fun, especially if the media hated game beats the media darling.

I'd say Destiny was the most hyped up game but Titanfall was a close second xD

They will see the graphics and production value and basically eat it all up. It's like all those flashy and expensive comic book-to-move adaptations all make like 700 million at the box office whilst some modest movie that challenges our minds(like Birdman for example) makes 60 million at the box office. The Order might not break even against its production cost(then again, it might) but I believe it will sell quite a bit.

Sure but pre Uncharted 2 release it had already sold 3 millions copies(vgchartz) and when Uncharted 2 released, PS3 had sold  28million which PS4 will easily succed 2 years from now. As long is it doesn't gets marked as a broken and crappy game I see no reason why it would not do close to Uncharted(1) numbers especially since it's on PS4 which has such huge momentum and the Order 1886 pre-orders in USA already have beaten uncharted 1 first 10 weeks total numbers(USA) and it released in November just in time for the holiday sales.
