They didn't force them to make Origins and gave it to WB Montreal, which shows they are willing to give someone else a chance at making Batman games.
I came into this thread expecting something along the lines of the last PIC in the OP.
The first one was very original and had epic boss fights. Arkham City is the best because it adds a better open world and there are many more things to do. Origins is definently the worst of the 3. Which says a lot because all the games are really good. Origins is worse because it has almost nothing new. Gotham looks the same, the story is slightly worse, nothing is very original.
That stated, I am really looking forward to the new one to see how much they can change it for the better on the more powerful current gen consoles

I enjoyed all three Arkham games, though Origins is the weak link. Its to bad the Witcher got pushed, now I may have to wait to play Arkham Knight.
