I'm playing through this game on my Vita at the moment.

It's... alright. The story is somewhat intriguing, so I'll probably see it through to the end at some point.

XSEED seem to be massive fans of this series, they've already localized both PSP games and they're working on the PC port of this 3DS game, so I'd imagine this'll come to the west as an eShop release or something.

And for anyone interested, this is the first part in a trilogy - the second part is Book of Shadows (available on PSP) and the third part is Blood Drive (available on Vita - domain registered by XSEED recently).

But not Vita?

It's already on PSP, playable on Vita.  Not really much point them making a native version.

title makes it sound like a movie from the 60s

I guess ...Repeated Fear is a slightly better subtitle than ...Lazy Port.

Lack of trophies really is a deal breaker for some people (eg. me)

Make your own trophies by seeing if you can collect all the bad ends :P

The west needs as many anime games as we can get.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Is there much demand for more horror visual novels? I guess they're stable enough to be ported around.

This is a easy game to port. Even if it sells poorly, it could make a decent profit if priced right. Besides, we need more visual novels on the 3DS.

It was an interesting game, I played it a while back. Hopefully this will get a release in the West and Blood Drive as well.
