The n64 couldn't handle 2d. In that department the ds is the clear winner. I believe the ds version of Mario 64 was better looking too.

N64 games look better, smoother textures and crisper colors. DS games are too pixelated, they remind me of PS1 / Saturn games.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
I like N64 graphics better... But the DS has some really good-looking 2D games.

DS.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
Personally, I have yet to see a DS game that beats Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Majora's Mask, Starfox 64, or Donkey Kong 64 graphically.
N64 > DS because Blur vs. Pixels is like Drugs vs. Minecraft and we all know what we'd rather have.
In all seriousness though, I think N64 is better.
