You are hyping Xenoblade Chronicles X but Xenoblade Chronicles did only 160k in Japan. The last Digimon (Digimon World Re:Digitize) did 220k in Japan. Oh and I didn't mention that the Vita will get a own exclusive SaGa, which could sell half of a million alone in Japan. So which situation is more bad?

Digimon > Xenoblade Chronicles -> So

And why would I ignore WW sales of XBX? XB sold 840k copies on the Wii despite being a gamestop exclusive with limited stock.

So how many games have sold more then a million on the vita?

XB > Digimon ;)

We don't know how big Digimon in the west is, Digimon could be bigger than Xenoblade or Xenoblade could be bigger than Digimon. We don't know that, the only thing we can compare is Japan and Digimon is bigger than Xenoblade in Japan

The second best selling digimon game sold 580k copies...

It was an other franchise, the old Digimon games weren't like the new ones.

Haha, you're hilarious :)

So, by that logic, the Wii U clearly has the worst lineup of the 8th gen home consoles. And the hallmarks of a great game are sales, so FIFA/GTA/COD and all the games that aren't released on Nintendo formats are generally the best because sales = quality?

Aain, no clue what you're talking about. I was talking about Vita being dead in the West.

No, you said it's entire software lineup was niche Japanese games and "inferior" ports, whatever that means. I don't see how games running 100% speed identical to other platforms is inferior ports.

Vita is up YoY in the West along with being undertracked. So it's actually*NOT* as dead in the West as it was a year ago.

What do you think to the Vita exclusives that have released so far in 2015? One of them really surprised me with how polished it was. I'm sure you'd have been loving it had it been published by Nintendo under the Donkey Kong IP. Anyway, I'm done here, no point debating things with people who don't actually understand anything about the formats they're trashing.

Playing something on the TV with a DS controller is automatically better than playing on a tiny screen imo. My hands cramp up from HH consoles.

And I have no idea what exclusive you're talking about, but it looks like Nintendo has to sue someone if they ripped off DK lol.

It's PS TV compatible too ;) I get what you mean with the cramp, PSP and 3DS both used to give me bad cramp. Find it a lot better with the Vita and XL models.

Baboon! was the game I was talking about. The only thing it has in common with Donkey Kong is it has a primate protagonist and you collect bananas.

It's way more challenging than the cutesy visuals would have you believe. Great soundtrack too. Honestly surprised Nintendo didn't nab em to do it on eShop as a Donkey Kong game.

Kick and Fennick is also well worth a look if you're into platform games. Vita has actually had a very good start to 2015 software-wise. Even if it's not mega blockbuster AAA franchises.

Never; I still expect Monster Hunter to find it's way onto Vita eventually, and make it blow up in Japan like Godzilla lit one of his farts.

haha xDDDD NO!

Monster Hunter is already on Vita :P

Not a big fan of indie games. I usually just buy the old Nintendo classics instead because I never played them.

I still get cramps from the XL model, gamepad is ideal size for me.

And the Vita isn't as powerful as the PS3, so wouldn't the vita games look outstretched on a big tv?

Baboon does look interesting though, but it's a niche game and isn't really indicative of great third party support. Great as in helping to boost HW sales. And I put in 100 hours with DKC: TF, so I'm platformed out for the moment. =D I'll watch some reviews though.

Oh it's not ever going to be a system seller, but there is more than just niche Japanese games.

PS Vita is actually capable of running games in 720p. The PS TV outputs at 720p or 1080i (480p for PS1 games) There's no stretching as the aspect ratio is kept the same. The 2D stuff like Muramasa looks outstanding on it and a noticable step up from the Wii version.

Here are a couple of photos I took when I was checking the PS TV out:
