Well, that's annoying, though I don't see too much of those thankfully. And I'm not defending Game Theory itself (though I think it's an entertaining channel) just to be clear.

It should be called "Game Hypothesis", a theory is well-established and the best that you can get. But that wouldn't be so catchy.

People tend to think of theories as just hypotheses anyway.

You're thinking on the scientific term of "theory". Something with so much study and data to back it up, that it's widely accepted as what actually happens.

Colloquialy, EVERYBODY knows theory = hypothesis :P

I think the "Link is dead" theory is more of a philosofical way to look at the game. Link isn't dead, but that's what a person goes through when he's reality ceases to exist.

Not bothering watching the debunk video as the link is dead theory's big flaw is well known. But the link is dead video does raise other posibilies that are nice to consider and speculate over.

I can't stand Game Theory. Most of the videos are disturbing, quite wrong on their topics, and plain childhood killers.

They're still interesting though, and somewhat funny, which is why I still watch them.
