I still don't see it happening until next year.

Not any time soon. Sales might be down 30% but there are understandable reasons for that.
I'd say the earliest possible is around December, but I don't see a price cut happening until next year.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
Earliest I can see is sometime in the holiday, maybe after Black Friday. But it's still topping the XB1 with no price cut so I don't think they'll even want to cut the price until next year.
During Gamescom or during E3. Otherwise, next year or holiday season.

i dont see it happening this yr
console launch price was cheap 399 8GB gddr, best selling console and will remain that in 2015 w/o a price cut WW
also think a cut to 299 would do a bigger boost and cant see that happening this yr, probably gonna get better deals bundles instead
if it does cut it will be 349 in sept-nov.

Play Me
This E3. It would about the same point in time when the PS2 got it's first price drop. Makes sense.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
Around E3. Better to build a lead early than to wait until late in the year.
People want what their friends have, so why wait until the holidays?
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Yup that's all the options lol.
I'd say at E3 they'll announce its gonna happen very soon if not right away.

Before the WiiU... well here in Australia anyway, we are still paying the same price we did launch day.
While PS4 hasnt had any price cuts it has had $50-$100 drops over the holidays with bundles.
OK on topic $50 this holidays but only if MS makes a move first.
