Interesting that a good amount of you are saying MW2. That was the only COD I ever bought, and it was one of the worst MP experiences I've ever had lol

Technically, there have been superior CODs since COD4 but my memories and experiences in COD4 have yet to be surpassed(even by non-COD games)

Black Ops 1 was the pinnacle of the series

I'm convinced no Call of Duty will top Modern Warfare. The campaign was awesome and the multiplayer was perfection. It was well balanced and every single map was awesome. MW2 was an unbalanced mess. Black Ops is probably the second best. I liked World at War but its balance and maps were definitely flawed.

No. Modern Warfare is what got me into the FPS genre and while I played a shit ton more of MW2 and Black Ops, I still don't think they're better games.

In terms of impact... no. That is the game that changed the industry. No other FPS since that one has had that sort of impact.

Also, it's NOT Modern Warfare 1. It's COD4 MW. It's annoying to see people renaming the game. lol
