I know there's quite a few of you who really want the order to do bad, can you give a reason or a few reasons why? I don't care what you think about it, I just want to know why. Type away brahs. #heh

Don't like the Black Bars during gameplay (or during anything really) although "hate The Order" might not be the right word for my case

I don't hate it!. . . yet, like I said on my post yesterday I'll wait for a random gameplay to judge the dang theng. :D
I don't hate it at all(I pre-ordered it at a really cheap price) but the things I dislike about it are the mandatory black bars and that the developers said they opted out of choosing 60 frames per second because 30 looks more 'filmic'. PLEASE. Just be honest and say 60 frames per second was not possible with this caliber of graphical prowess. Don't bullshit gamers with nonsense...
Well what do you mean by bad? Bad sales wise? Critics wise? or both?
I don't want The Order 1886 to do bad... I but I feel it's going to be nothing Special... I'm thinking a Metascore of 75... But I am hoping for at least a 83 +...
And I do believe it will sell at least 3 million copies...

Can't say I hate it since I havent played it, but the QTEs look absolutely forced and put in just for the sake of it. Also not liking how the camera looks as well; looks wonky to be honest. I'm curious on the actual length, but honestly I'd rather play a 5 hour mediocre game than a 10-12 hour one to be honest.
I'll buy it when it's like significantly reduced on Black Friday though as I do want to play it myself.

I actually talked a friend with a PS4 into buying it so we can sit on a couch together and laugh about how much games centred heavily around QTEs as a core mechanic have regressed since Shenmue.
To answer your question....I don't hate it. I'm actually highly amused every time I see it in "action" lol. Am I amused for the wrong reasons? Sure, but in my own way I'm supporting the game anyway xD
Do I hate the Order? No, but I certainly don't like it. The game just seems to be designed as a movie with the gameplay crammed in awkwardly. It has an overuse of On Screen Button Prompts (people get mad when I call them QTEs, but a rose by any other name...), far too many "cinematic breaks", a lot of slow walking (at least in the first hour of the game and all of the footage I've seen), badly designed shooting sections, and virtually no player choice within the gameplay.
Basically its everything I don't like about games, all wrapped into a pretty package...
Also no co-op option even though the game would suit co-op perfectly. Even the original Gears of War had split screen co-op... in 2006...
Game will probably still sell fucken heaps though based on hype, promotion and graphics. I hope the gameplay is good.
