 This really makes me want to see a PS4 successor to Starhawk. That game looked phenomenal on PS3. A next gen one would be mind boggling.

I actually had no interest in this game before, but looking at all this makes me want it so bad! I might even buy this over Splatoon, seeing as shooters really frustrate me sometimes because, well, I'm a scrub.

Nothing in here says what you are implying, while I want, hope & to some point, believe that they didn't show us everything from the overworld of planet Mira, Monolithsoft never said that there is more to it or that they are hiding anything!

Thanks ^^ Their wording ("Mira is [x]") implies the latter method i mentioned rather than actual player space, but we'll see. A huge map regardless.

Yeah, someone mentioned that the image wasn't the whole map earlier.


So far, I haven't read anywhere, an official statement from Monolithsoft saying that, I've read fans opinions about it, others fans misinterpreting what has been said & implying that it's the case, but no evidence that there is more to the map that what was shown in the vid.

I hope that there is more, but saying that it's the case is dishonest! Whoever said that stretched the truth quite a bit!

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

it's not an ice continent, that's white vegetation. and the fauna/flora so far is anything but cliche.

This is quite an old picture though isn't it? The game just looks so goddamn beautiful I honestly can't wait.

I love the way the presented it. Like they show you the full first continent, but they make it seem like the entire map. First you think "Woah. That's huge," but then you think "Eh... Is that really five times the size of Xenoblade, though? It only looks as big as Xenoblade." Then 15 minutes later the trailer's like "only joking! That map was just one continent! Here's four more! :D" And then you're left picking up peices of your brain the rest of the trailer.
