That's great. Why don't you make a thread about it?

why would i when there is one here? no point in spamming the forum with redundant threads. Believe it or not some 3rd parties had series across Nintendo Generations  that are no longer seen on Wii U (not counting quick cash in ports after the original release).

I admit my post was a little mean spirited but that's why I added a smiley  This thread is obviously focusing on first party titles but the thread title should have specified I guess.

Anyway, what third party games have usually occur in each nintendo home console? Ontop of my head are Resident Evil, Harvest Moon, Call of Duty, Lego, Sonic, Final Fantasy, and EA Sport games. Only games that are missing so far EA sports and Final Fantasty.

I get what he tried to do but I think to a degree it is nice to acknowledge franchises that some Nintendo gamers used to enjoy without the ned to by another console.

Resident Evil funny one since the gamecube days as they are more late ports. Wii or Wii U have never gotten the game launch day (or close to). I guess you can kind of squeeze it there though.

Others of the top of my head:

- Tony Hawk

- Tom Clancy Splinter Cell has kind of stuck around on and off. Although the franchise as become irrelivant these days.

- Metal Gear transitioned to Playstation then we got a remake on gamecube.

- Mortal Kombat SNES, N64, Gamecube then a weak additionto Wii.

- Killer Instinct but that died of more so to the sale ten resurrected 3 gens later by Microsoft.

- 2ksports games

Forgot Twilight Princess which was also on the Gamecube.

missing kirby superstar, the best one of them all

I agree, Kirby Superstar is hands down the best Kirby game ever made even after almost 2 decades!

Nice thread, thanks for the table, only the layout is a bit wonky. Wii was strong! WiiU is doing well in the first party department, now we just need Nintendo's quirky stuff - starting this year with Splatoon/Mario Maker.

No Harvest Moon for the U...

TP was also on GC.
Kirby Return to Dreamland is a FZero game? :)

That Punch Out x Fire Emblem game was the cat's pajamas.

Looks like someone in the SNES period really, really liked Donkey Kong.

Oh yeah! Haha I always forget that since I only ever played it on Wii.

This highlights why the N64 was so great. Top quality titles outside of Nintendo's usual IPs.

Sorry about that! I didn't really know how to do this so I litterally just copy/pasted from Excel. I hope it's not too strange to read!
