So I've been testing around a bit with the Multiquote and there are a few things that might be of interest..

1) Check out this link as I sort of explain it there..

What basically happens is that there is an order priority and you can't really choose the order (unless you copy/paste to move them around)

 

2) Something interesting happens when you quote a multiquoted message

For example, this is the original message: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=7659990

However, when I quote it, the other messages get chopped: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=7660699

It shows perfectly well what's wrong with this site and why so many threads are overlooked. Please consider our plea.

I don't believe that simply adding more threads would solve the problem. After all, if you want to see more threads, you just can click at the bottom and go to page 2, 3, etc.

Maybe a better solution would be to move the SAVE button up and use that empty space to add some tabs, each containing certain threads. For example, with four tabs we could have something like

GLOBAL_ Displays all the popular threads, it would be the same as we have now

GAMING_ Showing only the threads of the "Gaming Forum" section

SITE & SALES_ Again showing all the sales related threads as well as the site ones

OFF-TOPIC_ The name says it all.

That way we could have access to more popular threads while keeping the number of threads per page the same as now.

Well my solution was already explained in the thread. Remove hot topics from the front page and replace it with latest topics. Done. everyone is happier and the forum will be livelier and smaller threads won't be buried again.

It's not rocket science, make it happen Truck.
