Forums - Gaming Discussion - Where is the outcry with BF:Hardline resolution?

Viceral Games and EA claimed for months that Battlefield: Hardline wouldn´t have problems hiting 1080p/60Hz, on the PS4 and XOne.

But now, with the beta we know it´s basicaly the same thing as Battlefield 4.

So, where aren´t the people complaing against EA or pulling theories that PS4 could have achieved 1080p but EA droped the resolution and do on..?

So when people finally stop this we're gonna ask why?

Ehh, how about we just stop just the pixel wars -_-

this time its 900p on a specific console so its "okay" this time I guess :)

No seriously 10 years after HD gaming started in the living rooms (1600x1200 was already on PC in 2002) We still dont have FHD games on systems that are marketed as powerful :)

I appreciate them putting framerate as a priority over IQ.

That said, I would've preferred they made cutbacks in other areas, such as shadows and alpha effects. I always have those on low settings for my PC games.

This time is not pixel wars.

EA told us something and they can´t deliver that promisse.

I´m fact, I don´t care if they had problems later in development. I just fell wierd people didn´t complained this time.

is this the beta resolution or the final resolution?

"Stop complaining about resolution!"

*people stop complaining*

"Why aren't you complaining?!"

Nevermind the fact that this is just a beta, if you really want to pick that fight

Because unlike Ubisoft (who claimed the same thing), they failed quietly.  They didn't say they decreased it to avoid debate.  And how are PS4 gamers gonna complain when it only runs at 720p on Xbox One.  Seems like they should be the one raging.  How can it be that EA promised 1080p resolution on Xbox but one acheived 1/4th the resolution?  And with worse performance than on the PS4 and its slower CPU?  Its not a conspiricy, but its just sad. What happend EA?

There is no outcry because everybody is less worried about resolution and more whether the multiplayer will work before August.
