Totally stops.
Learning from good buddy Big N.
OT: Looks very neat.
there is people complaining about the number of party members being to small so i just wanted to point out that in the trailer, in the "intro" we can see at 0:41 a party member that isnt showcased on the trailer, and i wouldnt be surprised if there is at least one more party member (hopefully another girl since the one at 0:41 is a dude), that way we wuold end up with 6 party members.

Well it wouldn't really be a Persona game without them, so I'd definitely expect them. |
... What about the first three Persona games? :< No S-links in those. There's actually been fewer mainline games WITH Social Links than without.
Honestly, for S-Links, I can take them or leave them as long as there's some kind of new and interesting feature outside the dungeons to replace it.

Every new Persona game bring a new universe, with a very different color chart, and theme never explored by the company before, so that's no big surprise.
New UI does look great, I'm also super hyped for the OST. Can't wait for the reincarnation.

Lol, do you think it's because of the music, the footage, what they said, or a mixture of any of those?

Nah, I think it's just Youtube being slow at counting views :P

What's interesting is that on the main menu, instead of "community" (equivalent to "social link" in the Japanese version), you have "cooperation".

Not saying I dislike them, but I would prefer if they tried something new and different, even if it is just changing how S-Links work, as there wasn't any difference between P3 and P4 in how they were handled. Sticking with social links just because it's expected doesn't appeal to me personally.
And I would debate how optional they are. They're featured very prominently, and party member skills and highest tier personas are tied to them. It's like saying you could play without fusion, which you CAN, but it hampers you significantly and you miss out on a lot of bonuses. Maybe not to the same degree, but it still affects the game.
