Incredible how this got popular. It actually have even more likes than the Final Fantasy videos, despite having just more than half of it's views (which is also insane, when did the series grow this much?)

If I were to take a guess, I think the Persona series grew not just from Persona 4 Golden, but also the Arena spinoffs and animations.

Boutros linked two videos with well over 3M views each (E3 and TGS I guess). I dunno how fast they went, but they probably did more than 2M in 3 days.

Still very impressive what the Persona trailer has done. IGN has more subscribers than Atlus and FF is a much bigger game than Persona. FF will undoubtedly have more LTD sales, but for Persona to even measure up to FFXV in YT views is unbelievable. When a new trailer drops the Playstation account should also show it to help get it more mainstream attention.

I don't understand the appeal of the game (yeah, haven't played any other Persona title), though the trailer is pretty cool, and so is the music.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

As someone who has followed the series since the PS1 days, I never expected it to be getting this type of hype. I thought the series was going to remain under the radar since P3 didn't really do much in terms of bringing attention to the series as well as P4 in its initial run. I'm happy it's getting some recognition now. If only the main SMT series can get the same amount of love...
