I bought it on ps3 but will buy it again on ps4 when I get a ps4 due to first person mode which I much prefer and the upgrade in graphics. I'm in the UK. I think game prices fall faster in the UK/Europe so many people wait to buy in Europe for a better price perhaps this spreads out the sales more.

How do videogame retail sales compare across the whole of Europe compared to the USA. I thought USA vs Europe was very close now and it may be the portion of sales in Europe are skewed more towards console game sales. I thought I'd read that PC game piracy was much worse in Europe than the USA.

I'm more surprised by the reception GTA V got in japan, it seemed like initially it did rather well in japan if i remember correctly

GTA is still more popular in NA. The high attach ratio of PS owners compared to XBone ones is the main difference it looks otherwise.

8 gen has higher sales than the US tough

I would love to say its because GTA is a satire of the US, but i'm not sure how accurate that would be. Heh
