As many of you may have noticed recently there have been many users who have contributed to this site who have opted to leave.

Notable examples include:

1. *Sound of Rain ( Yeah he may have permabanned himself alot this year but this one seems serious as mods have bended the rules for him and Smeags had this to say on *Sound of Rain's  wall " He asked me that no matter how much he begs, he's done. I'm not even supposed to give out perma requests anymore, but it seemed fitting that he would be the last one."

2. Spurgeonryan ( Had this to say in his biography " I need to leave. I have wasted too much time on this site. I was depressed I think and a bad human being for coming here so much. I need to just sign out and watch whatever from the side lines. ")

3. jetforcejimmy ( New user but one who in his short stay was extremly active but surprisingly decided to leave 7 hours ago )

4. enditall727 ( A relativly active member who suddenly decided to leave us, he also made a thread on the subject )

So my question for you guys is:

Why is this happening and who is next?

Edit: Okay I think that we have reached a conclusion. As most people here pointed out, people grow up, people change and real life comes in the way. Some users will come back but others won`t and those that don`t come back will be somewhat replaced by new members. Hopefully out of these four members we will have at least one who will return.

They're just isolated instances, dude. Life happens and will continue to happen.

Tbh though Ive recently contemplated leaving

I wasn't gonna do this. But then I saw Spurge left. Somethings up.

Nothings up, people leave all the time.

Maybe they want to play games instead of talking about them. And its three members gone I reckon more people have signed up to the site than have left.

Vgchartz forums are doooooomed.

I think much of this is just some users being overdramatic and or life getting in the way.

You never really know, they may even stop by to say hi around e3.

No but seriously Spurge leaving has been a huge drawback.

I think spurge left because the new rules said the mods are cracking down on ALL CAPS titles.
