Where would the 360 be on this graph?

It'd be the asterisk on the right.

PS3 was the dumbest gamble Sony has ever taken and it serves them right for making such a failure of a system.

From what I'm still seeing, the PS3 is still in the running.

From my perspective the PSP was the dumbest gamble Sony has ever taken ... Sony backed Nintendo (a wounded animal) into a corner

I could be wrong but I don't think the DS or Wii would have ever been produced had Sony just focused on home consoles.

The DS came out before the PSP.

But the DS wasn't announced until after the PSP was announced. Though obviously they had to be working on it before then.

Still, I don't see how you can connect the dots: a handheld with touchscreen and a console with motion sensing. The PSP may not be leading sales, but I still think Sony made itself into a player in the handheld realm. I mean, what was the last handheld that came close to competing with Nintendo? Game Gear?

could anyone compare sales of ps3 60GB for 200$ ? =)) i just wonder, what would faster sold out, 1000 ps3 for 200$ or 1000 Wii for 200$. =) interesting, how fast would be selling Wii for 500$? =)) p.s. for any of you, what would you buy, a wii for 200$ or ps3 for 200$ ?=))

Well, if Sony did sell the the PS3 for $200 they would go bankrupt in about a week, allowing Nintendo or Microsoft to buy them out for pennies on the dollar.

just go google, and find how much sony got on Spiderman 3 moovie. + do you really know how much sony cost to produce 1 ps3? =)) no oficial info. like blu-ray diods now cost 8 bucks, and by some analitics was calculated, that blu-ray drive cost to sony 125$, so you see some difference? =)) it can cost now even 25$ to them. you just don`t know anything at all. =]

If you really believe that Sony can sell the PS3 for $200 and not go broke there is no point in arguing with you. You live in a different plane of reality and communication is impossible.
