All NPD from Jan 2014 to Oct 2014 were in favour of PS4 but VGC was still putting X1 Ahead in the weekly figures so many times...VGC is only an estimate, don't rely on it.

Maybe just maybe during the holidays because the Xbox One price cut was temporary, a lot of third party bought the system and are reselling them at a lower price and VGC are tracking those "resell". That would explain the Xbox One being above PS4...

I'm with you; God Eater 2 Burst, One Piece, Swords Art Online, Digimon Cyber Sleuth, Persona Dancing all Night, Resident Evil relevations 2 should give it a nice boost in Japan. China alone should contribute a few more k to the weekly baseline and with the gap between the two likely to be small that could make a world of difference.

It wouldn't be a typical week on vgchartz without PS4 getting adjusted down on the prior weeks number before the new ones roll in.
