Oh gosh, that's totally ripping off Sony's idea. But a good move nonetheless if it's true AND at no cost like an excuse to apply a subscription based service.

...Let the Sony Domination continue with the PS4...

While this would be awesome, I doubt it'll happen. But if it's true, I'n gonna buy a New 3DS.

For this (potential) feature? The GamePad that comes with every Wii U has a bigger screen, higher resolution display than the 3DS, and is more comfortable to hold for long play sessions.

Not for this feature alone. The exclusives are interesting, but they don't justify the New 3DS' s price in my opinion. If this is true, which it probably isn't, it would be a nice gimmick to try out and it'd justify the price a bit more.

If anything, Nintendo should allow 3DS games to run on the Wii U, whether through a "3DS player", or though technology inside the housing on one or both of the systems.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

Maybe they wanna drop the gamepad. Would make sense, because the N3DS has the extra buttons and the NFC reader. If it's able to stream the games, then it can do everything that the gamepad can do.
Also the Wii U needs a pricecut badly.

I mean, that's neat and all, but if you have a Wii U you already have a GamePad, so... so... why?

Think it can be a substitute for another gamepad if games will start requiring two (Seriously I just checked that gamepads are still not sold seperately!)

This way you could have 2 player off-tv play

Wouldn't the resolution be much too low?

This several games you wouldn't even be able to read the HUD, you can't just downscale a 1080p game to the 3ds and expect everything to be legible when it wasn't made with such a low resolution in mind. It's like playing some ps3 games on an SD tv, you can't even read the font.

I don't think it's true and with already having the gamepad doing remoteplay far better than the 3ds ever could there's no need for it.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Text in PS3 games was very hard to read when I used an SD TV in the beginning, and the 3DS screen is even lower res than SD.

Need something off Play-Asia? http://www.play-asia.com/

My guess is if they do do this it will work over the internet.

They may be testing the waters to see if fusion is something people would want. No real other benefit for them to gain unless you count double dipping.

I love my Vita, but playing PS4 console games on the Vita defeats the purpose. Smaller screen, more difficult control methods. I much prefer playing native Vita games.

I wouldnt use it on my 3DS with Wii U either for the same reasons. The new 3DS at least has 2 shoulder buttons though.
