Forums - Nintendo - A biased review: Luigi's Mansion 2

Did you play this recently? And more importantly, did the multiplayer glitches ever get fixed?

If (When) we ever get a LM3, I look forward to actually being able to go for as long as possible in an infinite scarescraper without being scumbagged out of it.

7.1 ... No way, this is a solid 8.5 for me, and soooo much better than the previous one.

I love your sound verdict. Also, I pretty much agree with this review. I really hope we get another fully fledged out console Luigi's Mansion one day. I can only imagine the atmosphere and innovation they could give us with HD and the gamepad.

Although, my grade for this would probably be a good 7.8-8.0.

Official Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Thread

I think I encountered a glitch in the first Luigi's Mansion, but I was never able to figure out whether or not I was just missing something. The first time I went to the basement, a ghost appeared briefly. I left the room without capturing it and in the future it never reappeared. The room was stuck in an unlit state. Every other room I was able to visit seemed to be cleared.

This was several years ago, so my memory of it isn't completely clear, but it seemed like I was unable to progress. Know anything about that?

Should have been one of the blue ghosts with 10 health that drop a lot of money if you manage to catch them. They are hidden in various rooms and are one-chance only, unless you reload your save file.

You are unable to progress in the basement until chapter 4 of the game, so you simply missed the room where you could make progress. One possibility is that you overlooked the key on a pillar in the room with the crystal ball that doesn't necessitate catching any ghosts and the room is still unlit; that's why it's easy to overlook.

That explains it. I don't know what chapter I was on, though. And I don't remember whether or not I saved. At this point I'll probably just wind up restarting the game next time I play it, anyway. It's been a really long time. Thanks.

This game has some of the worst graphics I've seen on the 3DS. The final mansion sucks ass btw.

I remember when I was on your team and I used the only key on the wrong door, ending the game.

Fun times.

Funny because I think it has some of the best... textures and light effects are very nice, maybe too much aliasing but very good graphics imo.

I remember that Conegamer got a warning from axumblade because he kept lying to us.

Now that's funny.

yeah a 7 is a good score for this game. the original was way better.
