It's like the pre order chart is completely on autopilot and ioi doesn't even look at it.
If you need to be reminded of how inaccurate the pre-order numbers are, you just need to know that The Last Guardian for the PS3 has been on this list a lot throughout 2014, with 50k pre-orders.

Well, at least it finally showed up on COMG, so there's at least that.
And I get a feeling Splatoon and maybe Zelda might be showing up soon
