I think (and I hope) MP10 is going to be better than 9 and 8. Yeah that´s not a big thing, i know... but bowser party mode, the amiibo boards, the local multiplayer for 5 and being a 1080p 60fps Mario Party make it look better than the 2 previous, i´m not gonna buy it anyway, but it doesn´t look terrible and probably is going to have very good sales as all MP.

I'm getting it!

I play a lot of Mario Party with friends (mainly the GC ones) and we have our own ranking and everything. I own all games except 9, so the all in 1 car is new to me. I would have prefered a classic mode as well, but still looking forward to this. Bowser Party looks especially fun.

Definitely getting it. Myself and my friends are playing Wii U Party all the time and love it. Great games to have a few drinks during.

im not into mario party.

and no yoshi showed at direct, seems it will be released only on Q3.

They should place it in a board game box, with 4 or so amiibos just like board game pieces and that will draw the attention of families who are out seeking a board game. Board games are selling well again these days and often, you see top quality games for upward of $70.

This is actually a pretty cool idea. It would make an awesome collectors edition, I'd buy it!

It would look good on a shelf too, and at the right price would draw in a lot of the Wii era, buy it for family kind of people.

That's a brilliant idea. I would buy that in a heart beat.

In the recent Direct, Mario Party 10 was confirmed for a 20th of March release in North America and Europe, meaning it'll be the game to tide Wii U owners over between Kirby/Toad in Feb/Jan, and Splatoon + MK8 DLC in May.

Is anyone even remotely interested in this one?

My wife is and so are a few of my friends. Although, I might be different than many others it seems lately... I GO OUT and actually play games with friends at people houses and such. Basically my wife and I are social gamers.

That isn't meant to say that others on this forum aren't also social gamers, I don't know you and can't really make such a crazy generalization like that, but we do seem to be a dying breed. Or perhaps there will be a resurgence in this kind of gaming.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

No. I've only tried Mario Party games a few times, and frankly: They waste your time. What you do most is watch the game play itself. They also lack 'Nintendo polish', since they are developed by Hudson (now Nd Cube).
