The last good one was MP3. MP4, 5 and 7 at least tried. 8 was decent sometimes.
The take off the normal boards to put gimmicks and mini games are worse every time. To me, MP was a big franchise, but they transformed into shovelware.

Wanna try a mario party title, so this will be my first.

What a horrible start, start with something decent like Mario Party 3, 5 and 7, or the masterpieces 1 and 2. I mean, don't get me wrong, but 10 looks similar to 9, which is boring, but at least is not as boring as 8.

Please elaborate, what makes this or 9 boring compared to those other titles you recommended?

In the original games, the focus was on make theme boards. For example, in MP1 there was one that was on a mine, other in the sky, other between pipes, etc. Your main goal was to reach the star location and buy it for 20 coins. But in the middle, every turn the players played a minigame to win more coins and on the boards there were certain events that can change your position or loss/win items/coins.

MP5 changed the items to orbs, which can be put on spaces.

This new one with every character in a car is idiotic.

Not even a lick. Completely done with Mario Party.

Same. I really liked mario party 1/2/3, but after these three game, it become more and more casual, it's really not worth it now for me.

I'm the only one of my friends and family that owns a Wii U, and I only have one controller... the Wii U gamepad.

Am I interested? Work it out yourself from the information above! :)

You must be really interested then!

It wasn´t that bad, i remember having so much fun playing with friend, silly game but effective.

Last time I cared about Mario Party was Mario Party 4

http://moongypsy.bandcamp.com/ ~Thank you Stefl1504 for the amazing sig~

I'd be a little hyped and would be considering this game if the ''normal'' Mario Party mode would be like previous games and not like that dreaded MP9 with the kart. I don't remember Nintendo showing anything but the Bowser Party mode and now recently the Amiibo mode that looks super boring. But we saw yesterday the logo for the ''normal'' mode and all characters seem to be on a kart, so I guess they kept it like it was in MP9 despite everyone hated it.

What?! I can't hear you over all this awsome! - Pyrrhon (Kid Icarus:Uprising)

Final Ultimate Legendary Earth Power Super Max Justice Future Miracle Dream Beautiful Galaxy Big Bang Little Bang Sunrise Starlight Infinite Fabulous Totally Final Wonderful Arrow...FIRE! - Wonder-Red (The Wonderful101)

I'll likely get it at some point.

I often take my WiiU along with me to family events. Pretty sure MP10 could be a big hit with my wife, parents, siblings, cousins, and my nieces/nephews.

This isn't a game you buy to play for yourself -- you get it to enjoy with other people who usually are far less interested in gaming than you.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
