Lol it's not that serious.  End of the day I still enjoy Sm4sh, just wished it offered more content compared to the jump from melee to brawl.   It felt like it needs a giant update with more stages, characters, modes, and trophies.   :)

I think your more upset with lack of single player mode, which i do feel the same. But i do know that SSB isnt aboutthat at all (it is a fighting game) and if they did do it, we wouldn't have this game intill holiday 2016 + content would be cut even further^

Tekken is also released more frequently for one, and two they rarely take out characters.

what did they take out? What was removed so casuals could enjoy the game more? This might sound selfish, but if they removed stuff that makes it harded for casuals to play, im all for that. The game is already plenty casul friendly.

Dark pit has different moved and a different final smash, did you even use that chacracter he is far more orginal than Wolf was to Fox

4 has less levels than brawl? i doubt that. unless you talking 3ds version but even then.

yes they could have done something better. But you could say the same for Subspace. IMHO i rather them not have it i there wasting tiem and takiing up space than habe it in the game, especially as it was used to unlock characters. ugh

Considering that Brawl online didnt work AT ALL, yeah it is a plus.

Yes as Tekken is released more often, than wouldn't that be a reason for the rooster to change less?  Smash had a full 7 years to get the rooster prepared and they delivered with meh results.

Alot of the mechanics in Melee were gone, and some in Brawl like gliding.
Lol at bolded. not sure if srs.  Wolf literally has no smash attack or tilt in common with Fox, and while their B moves are similar they are still different.

Dark Pit has pretty much just Zelda/Shiek's smash, and his side B is pretty much the same thing beside they fly in different Directions.  His bow is slightly different, but work pretty much the same.   All his core attacks are the exact same.

And yes the game has less new stages than brawl.

And like I said before, functioning online in 2015 is not a plus.  Its nintendo fans that keep them from progressing their games, and will ultimately lead them to not make consoles anymore due to looses in money

Not really, Tekken just keeps adding characters and they rarely take ones out and when they do they put them back in later and or replace them with a clone so you arent missing much. Hell Tekken Tag 2 had damn near every character in the game, which the exception of Gon for obvious reasons. Your roster is gonna add up eventually.

different how?

sounds like Fox Wolf to me. It just seems like you are pissed that they took out your favorite character and i get it i was mad when Kazuya was gone from 3, but that doesnt mean you crap on other characters.

No it doesnt, Smash bros for Wii U has 46 brawl has 41

I dotn know what that has to do with anything, but i agree it isnt a plus but we are talking the latest Smash Bros. vs Brawl and considering Brawls online didnt function at all, that is still a point in 3ds/wii u favor. Now if we wanna talk vs other fighting games of course its pathetic, but what do you suggest Smash fans NOT buy the game, there arent many alternatives.

1.  Weak Roster:  I know this is kind of subjective but I think almost everyone thought the roster was decent at best.  Newcomers like Shulk and Megaman actually add to the game, and gives games like Xenoblade much needed notoriety.    While characters like Bowser Jr. and PacMan just don’t play as well, and don’t add very much like the new guys did in Brawl.

The roster has been saved and your complaint is now invalid because we can now call upon the power of the mighty LUCAS!

HOLY CHIT....I HOPE HE'S DIFFERENT THOUGH THIS TIME.  I HEARD ABOUT THIS BUT I HAD NO IDEA THEY HAD A PICTURE OF HIM .

EDIT: WATCHING THE VIDEO. YASSSSSSSSS

Just goes to show how misinformed this rant has been.

So you admit that 11 of the new characters are unique, and not clones.

Why in your opinion is the original roster not optimal?

What, in your opinion, would have made it a better game?

And you still haven't explained how functioning online is not an improvement on non-functioning online, or how Nintendo's fans keep them from progressing their games.

A lot of the new characters are great, like Rosalina and Shulk, but many of them dont hold up well like Pac man.

What would have made it a better game:

1. Story mode.  (Say whatever you want, but I'm sure it would have been better to have one than not have one)

2.Better choice in characters (King K. Rool, Ridley, Maybe even an FE villian, ect)

3. Better/more stages.  The amount and quality of the stages is laughable.

4. Better stage builder.  This one goes without saying.

5. More selection of trophies that aren't ripped from brawl like 80 percent of the ones on there.

ect, ect, ect,

Functioning online should have been in Brawl that's for starters, and the Online in Smash 4 still isn't perfect compared to fighters on Last gen PS3.

So you admit, that the new characters are a general improvement. (I'll ignore the Pac Man bit - Tbone already blew that out of the water)

1. I would have liked to have seen a story mode. But just because I miss story mode doesn't mean Sakurai is lazy. They developed other features instead. It is a different game.

2. I would have liked to have seen Snake return. I would have liked to have seen Rayman included. But just because I think those characters would have been great doesn't mean SSB4's roster is weak. The decisions on whether to include a character are carefully considered.

Sakurai on Ridley:

“I definitely know that Ridley’s a much-anticipated name for fans, but if we made Ridley as a fighter, it wouldn’t be Ridley any longer,” Sakurai told IGN in an email interview. “It’d have to be shrunk down, or its wings reduced in size, or be unable to fly around freely.”

“Providing accurate portrayals of characters is something I want to pay ample attention to,” he continued. “If I don’t stick to that thought, then we’d have to lower the quality or break the balance of the game. Something that goes way off spec could break the entire game.”

3. We have already established that there are 50 new stages between SSB4 Wii U and SSB4 3DS. 27 of those new stages are Wii U. In addition, there are new 8 player and final destination style versions. Why do you believe this is laughable? Now you've brought in the quality of the stages into your rant as well - please explain what you mean by bad quality in the stages.

4. Please explain how the new stage builder is worse than Brawl's. Give examples.

5. Please explain where you got 80% from. There were 544 trophies in Brawl. There are 716 trophies in SSB4 Wii U, and 685 in SSB4 3DS, 1,401 trophies in all. The trophies in the 3DS version and Wii U version are different from one another with a few shared exceptions (as they are handheld vs. console games).  That means, across the 2 games, there are around 850 new trophies. Compare that with 290 new trophies (when introduced in Melee) and 254 new trophies in Brawl.

5. "etc. etc. etc." would have made it a better game? So you admit, you have run out of ideas on how it could have been made a better game?

The online on SSB4 is an improvement on Brawl. That's a plus.

Points sound a bit subjective to me, but a few are less so, but for example the story would've put even more strain on Sakurai, plus he's already given us so much content in the game.

So much content?  Brawl literally had way more content.  And Brawl was on a 7 GB Wii CD from 7 years ago.   So by adding very few characters, removing quite a few and filling the rest of the roster with clones and removing story mode it has a lot of content?

Sakurai is very lazy if you ask me.

I know I've already dealt with these last two paragraphs in an earlier post, but I can't believe I missed the bolded first time around. Have you actually explored ANY of the content, as well as made yourself aware of everything that has been going on since January? Your comments about Lucas suggests not.

And if you want to talk about content in terms of GB, SSB4 download size is twice Brawl's at 15.6 GB.

And BTW, you still haven't explained your statement "Its nintendo fans that keep them from progressing their games, and will ultimately lead them to not make consoles anymore due to looses in money"

It got a giant update. It is now a game that is linked across handheld and home console. It has 50 new stages, not including the 8 player and final destination variants. It has 11 more characters, (and more to come). It has new modes and features and more trophies than ever.

"No Story Mode - No Buy" for me. Local co-op with friend was best in Brawl. This is a main reason I don't care about SSBU.

Eh, I just don't find the Smash games very fun to begin with. I did really like Subspace Emissary in SSBB though...
