Welcome to the site!

It isn't too difficult. Just treat others with respect and avoid trolling and you should be fine. Generally you'll get a warning before a ban even comes up. Well...unless you're an alt...You aren't an alt though, are you?! :(

It's been a while since we had a ninjablade alt, at least that I've noticed.
Since being perma-banned, he used to pop up around twice a month, then he seemed to give up after his 19th alt.

Didn't think that you could get banned for quote trees. I'm surprised that there was spamming. I haven't seen any of that.

They're not very common bans, usually it doesn't get to the stage where you need to ban people for quote trees. Bans for spamming are usually for posts lacking in content like multiple one word posts/images alongside spambots trying to sell us shoes.
