Forums - Sony - Who's into online fighters?

Currently, on PS3, I have: Marvel Vs. Capcom: Origins, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma, Continuum Shift, and Calamity Trigger, Tekken 6, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Soul Calibur V, Soul Calibur II: HD Online, Street Fighter III: Third Strike: Online Edition: Fight for the Future, Mortal Kombat 9, Mortal Kombat Arcade Collection, Virtua Fighter 2, Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, Dead or Alive 5: Ultimate, Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection: Online, Arcana Heart 3, Super Street Fighter IV, and Street Fighter X Tekken.

The only games I really don't like are the last 3 I mentioned.

I like fighters.  I'm rusty at all of them except Marvel Vs. Capcom: Origins.

I understand the rules and mechanics of all of them except Arcana Heart 3 (and the game's theme is kinda off-putting to me, so I wont be getting Love Max)

I just picked up Skullgirls with all it's DLC on steam, I'm better at 2D fighters on Keyboard, as long as I stay away from the grapplers.  Can't do a 360 on a keyboard to save my life, but everything else, from combos, to shoryuken and whatever, I can do them just fine..  My success rate with combos and strategies are just.. better on keyboard.  The only thing I need a controller for are those grab characters, like Zangief, who I don't like anyway

But, once I get better at that game, I'll be willing to play it online.

But, I figured, since PSN is down, now would be the perfect chance to schedule some matches.  Again, the only ones I don't like (or want to play) are SSFIV, and SFxT.

With all that said, looking forward to Mortal Kombat X, and Street Fighter 5, and potentially Virtua Fighter 6...  Tekken 7?...  Looks dumb so far, so we'll see.

I like Smash Bros, Dead or Alive (potentially for the wrong reasons) and Mortal Kombat.

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Love them, but they hate me.

DOA is the best.

You goofed the K in "Kombat".

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Mistakes like that let you know their skill level.

I hadn't played in so long.  I liked it until they started nerfing Sub-Zero.  Combos that got me 78% damages scaled back to 64%....

I like soul calibur, virtua fighter and DOA.

I've been playing Killer instinct the most tho

Just Smash!

Tekken 7 and SF5 on Playstation 4 when it comes out and and Killer Instinct on the Xbox One. I don't even know if I'm remotely interested in Mortal Kombat right now, but we'll see.

I play Street fighter competitively. Not offically but in small local tournaments from

SF2, SF Alpha 3, SF 3rd strike and USF4

I also play King of fighters, Tekken, MvC and Soul Cal....however not very competitive since my youth

Been learning Guilty gear xrd sign and want to get to competative level...however i barely have time for it lol. I also experimented with skull girls but didnt really get into it...again because of time.

I play super smash and Ps all stars casually.
