Phantom Dust was made by Futatsugi . Very much a japanese guy. Phantom Dust is a very unique game though and like no other. It does have JRPG elements in it, but its not your typical JRPG
If youre talking about the Teaser at E3 then i like it. Looks very nice and much better than the original.
@OP - Phantom Dust and Scalebound are actually my two most anticipated.....unless Banjo gets announced. Mostly because i dont know what to expect where as games like Halo and Uncharted im insanely excited for, i also know what to expect. Also very excited for Persona 5
JRPG made my Americans... Silly MS, but I am listening

It was made by Futatsugi......Where are you getting that this was made by americans? It originally wasnt even released in America.

Well, according to their top 10 best sold games they only like fps. :p
Always wanted to play the original, now I have to get me an Xbox one to play >_>

Don't be fooled by the Bethesda logo; there were probably more japanese developers in The Evil Within than western ones. Especially when the main head was Shinji Mikami himself.

The original Phantom Dust was made by Yukio Futatsugi and a lot of the staff were also japanese but I'm not so sure about the remake itself ... Phantom Dust was indeed a very unique game at the time, heck it wasn't even JRPG! It was some virtual card game with action and strategy ...
The teaser indeed looked a lot better but I'm more interested in the gameplay to see whether it succeeds in capturing the JRPG feel cause right now it's not emanating any of the things a JRPG should ...
