Forza 4 500 cars 26 tracks - Forza 5 200 cars 14 tracks.  Something new like $50 car pass for a game with limited content already and much locked away behind a pay wall on day freaking one.

I get peopel want to defend their game for reason we all know many have be it misguied loyalty or maybe hopefully some just like the game for what it is.  But cut the defence force thing people, F5 had glaring issues that it should be hammered for much to do with it short development cycle.  Its lack of content and dlc schemes were disgusting and shamefull, the epitomy of whats wrong with this industry.

So that means F6 will have less than what F5 had? Even if from F1 to F4 the series just went up in quality? Do we have to ignore the fact that it was rushed for the launch and immediately jump to bad conclusions?

It was not rushed, Forza is on a hard 2 year scheadule.  What ever failure is not due to any "rush" but by hard time constraints placed on the development time by the publisher.

New hardware, new engine... but I get you don't understand that do you?

LMAo, its their choice to stick to a two year release schadule.  If new engine new hardware were such issues.  How about give devs more fin time durrrrrrrr.

I've always liked Forza games, day one buy for me!

Its a car game.  How in the hell do you expct any one to innovate game play that was is will be a car going around a track ?

And with more time they could release a much better more content filled game, but then they would get to charge people 60 a pop plus 50 car pass every two years.

Guess what, Forza GT, 99% the same gameplay.

I see you completely ignored the point about two years on last gen being completely different than two years building a new engine and game on a new console, so I'll chalk that up as a point for Turn 10, thanks.

Regarding what you did respond to, they can innovate GT gameplay by changing the handling model, introducing a real damage modeling system and making it more realistic. The franchise has needed a reboot on its hilariously awful AI for years and years now. That's just off the top of my head without giving it much real though. And you know what? They actually get paid to sit around and think of this stuff! Imagine the possibilities they could come up with if they weren't busy remodeling the back wiper blade into the perfect spot on a premium car because it was off by 2 inches or porting in 300 standard cars from GT3.

What you're saying is you'd rather play the exact same game every time so long as there are 1,300 cars in the game. You're ok with racing around the same tracks or maybe even some new ones, plus some ones from last gen that are ugly and out of place, so long as there is content. It might feel exactly the same on those tracks as the last game, but who cares! There's so many! But less content with a chance of experiencing something actually new, fuck that noise! I need 41 different Skylines! I just.. can't agree with that. The funny thing is the franchise on the extremely long development cycle should be the one that is innovating the gameplay the most and the one on the two year cycle should be the one that feels like retreads, but in this case it's the exact opposite. And that comes from someone who played about as much GT 1-3 as anyone. I think aside from getting my Dreamcast, my gaming heart has never been as excited as when I went into Walmart and stumbled on the last copy of GT2.

So you can continue waiting on the GT6 retread, Forza fans will continue to experience good games every other year. And please, don't act as if PD is above milking. GT6 has microtransactions for fucks sake. This is the last reply I will make concerning GT though.

New engine new hardware are just excuses for F5 failures, its a matter of making a SIMPLE choice to or not to give then an extra year and release a proper game.  Thats a choice the publisher made, live with it.  Dont spin shit and excuse the greed of multi billion dollar corporations.

GT6 mico lol the ones totally irrelevent to the game that no one at all uses ? thsoe ones.  Ones people dont even know they are their as its not marketed in game at all, unlike ones in forza 5 where they showed it in your face constatly.

Every car added to GT6 after release, guess what it is FREE.  Every add on every track update upgrade added all evryhting post release is FREE.

Sure all the DLC in GT6 has been free but none of it is very impressive and its poorly integrated into the main game (none of the DLC tracks are intergrated into the career mode) and what it really needed and was promissed a massive sound overhaul is still missing and will probably not happen until GT7.  Not to mention that Laguna Seca is completly off.

But what is trualy impressive is day one dlc.  On a content lacking game.

All Forza games since FM4 had day one DLC so its nothing new there a tons of other games that also have day one DLC.  Don't like DLC don't buy it problem solved.  You are acting like someone is puting a gun to your head and forcing you to buy DLC for a game.

Again plenty of other games also have day one DLC but I don't see you bashing any of those.  I get it you don't like Forza then don't buy it problem solved.

ill bash any game that cuts content day one from a aready content lacking game to sale it as dlc like F5 did, but play the victim card if it makes you feel better.  Since you have no logical argument.
