I see you completely ignored the point about two years on last gen being completely different than two years building a new engine and game on a new console, so I'll chalk that up as a point for Turn 10, thanks. Regarding what you did respond to, they can innovate GT gameplay by changing the handling model, introducing a real damage modeling system and making it more realistic. The franchise has needed a reboot on its hilariously awful AI for years and years now. That's just off the top of my head without giving it much real though. And you know what? They actually get paid to sit around and think of this stuff! Imagine the possibilities they could come up with if they weren't busy remodeling the back wiper blade into the perfect spot on a premium car because it was off by 2 inches or porting in 300 standard cars from GT3. What you're saying is you'd rather play the exact same game every time so long as there are 1,300 cars in the game. You're ok with racing around the same tracks or maybe even some new ones, plus some ones from last gen that are ugly and out of place, so long as there is content. It might feel exactly the same on those tracks as the last game, but who cares! There's so many! But less content with a chance of experiencing something actually new, fuck that noise! I need 41 different Skylines! I just.. can't agree with that. The funny thing is the franchise on the extremely long development cycle should be the one that is innovating the gameplay the most and the one on the two year cycle should be the one that feels like retreads, but in this case it's the exact opposite. And that comes from someone who played about as much GT 1-3 as anyone. I think aside from getting my Dreamcast, my gaming heart has never been as excited as when I went into Walmart and stumbled on the last copy of GT2. So you can continue waiting on the GT6 retread, Forza fans will continue to experience good games every other year. And please, don't act as if PD is above milking. GT6 has microtransactions for fucks sake. This is the last reply I will make concerning GT though. |
New engine new hardware are just excuses for F5 failures, its a matter of making a SIMPLE choice to or not to give then an extra year and release a proper game. Thats a choice the publisher made, live with it. Dont spin shit and excuse the greed of multi billion dollar corporations.
GT6 mico lol the ones totally irrelevent to the game that no one at all uses ? thsoe ones. Ones people dont even know they are their as its not marketed in game at all, unlike ones in forza 5 where they showed it in your face constatly.
Every car added to GT6 after release, guess what it is FREE. Every add on every track update upgrade added all evryhting post release is FREE.
