Forums - Microsoft - MS confirm they have plans for Banjo and Perfect Dark

Conkers is old school (the outdated king of) 90's. It's humor is no longer funny. Banjo-Kazooie holds up better. I hope it's not PD, Xbox already has one to many shooters. Still if I had my way we'd get another Viva Pinata.

... I don't think their is more than two or three players intersted by those games. It is the kind of games that everyone on the net speak about like their lives depend on it, and then end in a terrible, albeit predictable flop.

I would like to see these games again, but let's be honest.. they won't sell well at all. The people that talk about Banjo/Perfect Dark/Conker those from the 90's that probably aren't even into gaming anymore or moved on with life. The games would probably sell around half of what Sunset Overdrive has sold.

banjo doesn't need to be played by old fans only, platformers is quite an all ages kind of genre. XBO doesn't have many of those, not even one sonic title is available.

"He added that with Halo and Gears of War it doesn't make much sense to bring back a classic FPS like Perfect Dark."

How about making a new perfect dark as a 3rd person Sci fi video game with 1st person options also, would not over saturate xbox one with FPS games, n a new platformer banjo would be great!

I watched many videos of development talk, questions, build tests, etc, mostly from Maximillian's youtube page (and he is now also working on the game, sort of), and all I ever saw or hear was of Double Helix. What exactly did this Rare team do for KI? Do you have any links that explains it this?

It was talked about before the game came out.  Either kenn lobb, the double helix guy, or phil spencer talked about it during an interview/stream.  Dont remember which.  The team was eventually called the Internal KI Team after Amazon acquired Double Helix.  They also work on season 2

It is even credited by four studios in "developement" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killer_Instinct_(2013_video_game)

You can also view the logos and announcements of KI on the cover.  Basically it was Double Helix and about 10 rare guys, some of which apparently worked on the original KI back in the day.

I think youll find its pronounced Banko...

Banjo and Kazooie Nuts and Bolts 2, and Perfect Dark Zero 2 confirmed......

All jest aside, I hope they make something good, been a long while.
