Should vgchartz separate bundled and stand alone game sales?

Yes, in order to compare ... 15 23.44%

No, a bundled sale is still a sale. 39 60.94%

I don't care either way. 7 10.94%

I have seen alot of threads lately where people are debating sales and it always inevitably ends up leading into the area of "what constitutes as a sale" argument. I think it would be cool if vgchartz would separate games stand alone sales from bundled ones for this reason alone but also because it would be interesting to see.

For instance... take COD AW on Xbox One. It currently shows it beating the PS4 version in the US, but that's likely because it was bundled and vgchartz just combined everything. It would be nice to compare the two versions in the US, apples to apples.

What do you guys think?

A game bundled with a console is just as valid as any game sale. Only difference is that you get a discount if you buy them together.

However, consoles bundled only with a code for a digital game shouldn't count towards the retail sales. (I'm pretty sure all the Xbox One bundles have digital codes, unless CoD: AW is an exception here)

While it would hav its merits it would just make the tables convoluted. Better just keep it simple and let Nintendo have their sales.

why fixing something that works?

It's true that it is weird that a game account for a sale when it is given for free with the console like titanfall, ACU or in PS4 bundle during BF.

Agreed...

Heh, NPD showed us that Cod AW for the XBO outsold the PS4 version without bundles in the US, so there you go!

It would be a nice feature but it won't ever happen.

Not much point.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Seems like a waste of time to me. People buy bundles when they like the game that's being bundled.
