wait, wha? well i'm sure forza horizon 2, with its great reviews, is beating driveclub, with its near unplayability? oh no? but then there's multiplats, xbox one advance warfare is surely outselling ps4... you mean it's not (winning in us barely, losing big time worldwide)? but wait! what about assassin's creed unity, that was bundled with every xbox one sold this holiday, practically, at $50 less than the ps4... oh, well, at least that's winning. in the us.

Also you think Bloodborn, Order, Uncharted and FF Remake go toe to toe with Halo, Forza, Fable, Tomb Raider and Quantum Break for appealing to US audience??

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

XB1 has more than one game. It was an example of how Halo appeals to the US audience more than Sony's games.

i edited my post. i think uncharted 4 can and will outsell halo 5000. and rise of the tomb raider. i can also say with confidence xbox one will probably not win a single month in 2015 without another huge markdown. and free games. or another huge markdown and a boatload of free games. it is a dud. it lost to the wii u for basically all summer. only when microsoft starts giving it away does it show signs of life. and even then it can't overtake the ps4 worldwide or in the us. it never will, on either count.

for the record, 3ds 1st, ps4 2nd, xbone 3rd.

In the US? Not a chance. Also Halo 5000? really?

It lost to WiiU for about a month, go back and check the actual sales. (WiiU was overtracked, was adjusted down). $400 to $330 is not giving it away.

And yet again you carry on about WW as if it is relevant to this thread.

People will still favor ps4 as their console for multiplatform games and we all know Third party games are bigger console movers then first party games

I'm going to go for the 3ds overall... Simply because of the lead it has.

 

As for PS4 vs. XB1.... Microsoft has better selling exclusives that cater towards the US market. Sony has no answer for Halo in the US market. So I will actually give the edge to Xbox One reaching 20m first in the US market, because Microsoft's exclusives outsell Playstation exclusives in the US.. 

I'll add that titles like CoD also favor the Xbox One in the US market..

this. this exactly. destiny at almost 2m ps4, 1.5m xbone. watch dogs 1.2m ps4, .75m xbone. comparable differences in the us for the evil within, wolfenstein, alien isolation, etc. heck, even with madden 15, which had an xbone bundle...!

First 2 were PS4 advertised, and PS4 has a lead over XB1 in userbase. Even if XB1 outold PS4 in Jan and Feb PS4 multiplats would still outsell XB1's.

Are you aware XB1 standalone AC Unity wasn't massively far off PS4's? Despite selling like 800k in the bundle. COD is ahead (both version). Both of those despite PS4 having a userbase advantage.
