It can but it's going to need the software. It would need the likes of Monster Hunter 5&6, Dragon Quest 11&12, Final Fantasy 15&16, KH3, YW3 or 4. Plus all a ton of smaller ones like MGS, GTA 6, RE7 etc etc etc.

But if Sony somehow managed to get 2 of YW, MH and DQ exclusive then it can put up a massive fight considering without them it will have a very good line up.

It doesn't need all of those. A price cut sooner than the PS3 would be enough.

yeah but a software line up with a few more japan million sellers would work wonders. They have GTA 6 and FF15 as likely million sellers but they need to get Monster Hunter and DQ back.
