I don't know but given the history of the franchise i'll go with 30fps and maybe with this game they're aiming for 1080p.

Yeah it´s very possible with this one, but maybe they´ll achieve 60fps, I hope so, but i´m hyped for it anyway.

Me too! I honestly don't care what it runs at as long as the decision is made for the right reasons.
They would have to sacrifice on the graphics front which is okay by me. I'm also okay with 720 60.

It doesn't make it inherently easier, but only having to render a very limited region of space (along with only a handful of models) usually means that fighters run at a higher performance rate. It's why Street Fighter 4 managed to hit 720p/60fps on weaker hardware almost 6 years ago, and why SSBU is Nintendo's only self made 1080p/60fps title.
As i said, it's not an inherent fact, but it's how things usually go (since few developers would bother making that tiny render region with high enough quality assets to off-set how small it is).

Yes, you very clearly did say something. Even if this thread is about the Wii U, basing Nintendo's design desisions for a franchise they have typically not "gone for" 60fps on other Wii U games that are part of franchises that have a hystory or at least a precidence of running at 60fps on consoles makes no sense.
Has Nintendo ever had a game the size of Zelda running at 60fps? No. They had Xenoblade running 30fps with fraquent dips.

While I don't agree with people who say that Nintendo "always" shoot for 60fps, there is a precident where franchises that were typically 30 or less moved to 60fps in later entries. Mario 64 and Sunshine both ran at 30fps, but then Mario games starting from Galaxy ran at 60fps.
And framerate effects more than combat. Games simply don't feel as good to play at 30fps. Even if I was just walking and that's it, I'd want it running at 60fps.
Look at Metroid Prime. It was a game that the designers specifically wanted to be easy when it came to combat because the "challenge comes from exploration." It has similar focuses as Zelda and basically the same amount of combat as Zelda games typically do, yet they chose to make the game 60fps. It even has L-Targeting exactly like Zelda's, so it's not like you need the extra frames for "smoother aiming."

I don't think the hystory of the franchise matters. Before Galaxy, there had never been a 3D Mario game at 60fps. They can, and should, change the standard framerate to 60fps if the hardware can take it.
A simple answer and all you have to do is ask another question.
Is Wind Waker 60fps?
There's your answer. No.

Well that's true, but as other has said before, it depends on the design choices they have taken in the development process, and what they want to achieve and the sacrifices they'll make to accomplish that goal.
