Well, I was as wrong as disappointed by these sales...... 18'5 mill probably sold-through,so around 20m shipped. Good numbers but i expected a lot more. At least PS4 sold more than 18m before 2015 so at least my minimum prediction was accomplished.

Sony really dropped the ball this holiday season with only 4'1 mill sold. Bah! so so disappointed....

I'd say that's a guarantee.  My guess is sales for both probably aren't as good as VGC has for NA, like what happened in Nov.  There's also a possibility that maybe the UK had a few strong weeks (when it was reported that PS4+XBO were doing ~100K a week), but hasn't maintained it since then.  I'm sure there may be some overtracking in EU, too.  We'll get a better picture once we get NPD.

Damn impressive, regardless of overtracking from VGC.  Even I underestimated the PS4 earlier this year, estimating it hitting 16M, which still would have been a great result.  And it's done 2.5M more.  Just damn.  This also means ~20M shipped.  Less than the Wii, yes, but not far behind at all.  And freaking awesome considering it launched for $150 more than the Wii, and without any motion control craze going for it.  Can't wait to see the crazy sales numbers once it hits $299.
