i don t see this year passing last year once MK8 sales hit - there is nothing to boost this year like MK8 and Smash -

We can't really call that until after E3.   Nintendo has unveiled major holiday titles for that year at E3 before.

good point but it would have to be mighty big- either way i hope they do have some surprises for us

I don't think they'd have agreed to the Zelda changes (and ensuing delay to 2016) if they didn't feel they had something of note to replace it.

i hope so-  but i m not sure how much more they are willing to invest in the Wii U- I hope alot but i m just not sure

The Splatoon Direct is on May 7. The same day as the investors meeting. Is higly probable that they will anounce a Bundle with a price drop.

They've already announced a Splatoon bundle and it's a Best Buy exclusive at $300.

I know, but the price may go down.

Hyrule Warriors, Smash and Bayonetta 2 where already known, so the new games announcement which where still released last year was limited to Captain Toad and Bayonetta 1 (+ of course the Amiibos, but that's not a game), the rest came out or was due to this year.

As for new announcements, I really hope for a new Paper Mario and a Nintendo Sports game. And SNES Remix.

A pricedrop is also possible, but I don't expect one that long before the holiday season

Damn, so Smash and Kart really haven't changed anything at all. =/

Splatoon, Xenoblade, Woolly World, Fatal Frame V, Devil's Third, Mario Maker, Rodea The Sky Soldier, Star Fox U, SMT x FE (in japan) as well as some other third party games will do the trick. It will no doubt do better this year than last year.

There are still tons of people who want Smash and Mario Kart, however, they are waiting to get a Wii U till some of those other titles I mentioned hit.

I'm not just refering to last year.  They've done it quite a few times in the past.  For instance, Donkey Kong Country Returns was announed at E3 and released that same year.  It was in development for 2 years before the announcement at E3.  When Nintendo wants to keep a secret and surprise you, they can.

Don't forget Super Mario 3D World, which was revealed at E3 2013 and released that holiday.

There are a few games I can see them doing something like that this year, such as Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion, Paper Mario among others.
