It's the 1st of January 2015, and lo and behold, the games scheduled to come out on Virtual Console today aren't fucking there. Again.

How hard is it, really, to just have them unlock by themselves when the clock ticks over? The unreliability is galling.

I hate it too. Had to wait til afternoon on Dec. 25 for Shantae rather than midnight. Couple hours.

If it makes you feel any better I'm in the states and it is 2:30 am my time and it doesn't look as if the eShop has updated here either. If it has there I didn't notice anything new and there isn't a "whats new 1-1-15" announcement.

It's not even waiting just a few more hours that bothers me, it's the inconsistency of it.
These arbitrary, unreliable schedules feel archaic in 2014.

I work 2nd shift so I'm normally up late, sometimes at 6am even it hasn't yet updated, I just never count on it to be updated until noon on Thursday... once I reset my expectation it ceased to bother me, because you're correct it seems inconsistent before that time.
