Next you're going to tell us that if i only read the first chapter of a book, and then the last page, the ending will be less impactful.
Regardless, it's fortunate we live in a world where a handful of people's dislike for something does little to affect it at large. The ultimate goal of a video game is to entertain, and it would appear that both UC and TLOU manage to do so for millions of people with ease. That's a job well done in my book ^^

Did you really just say that? I'm pretty sure it's the opposite at least since the invention of the internet. And I assume you heard of politics and religion and fanatic terrorists ?
The dislikes of (loud) minorities is pretty much one of the biggest drivers of change in this world. which is actually quite unfortunate.

True, but that's not what i was referring too (though i can see i wrote it poorly). I'm talking in regard to the standard likes and dislikes of people. It's certainly true that a vocal minority can accomplish all kinds of things, but they have to be shouting about something that the overall majority can at least tolerate (or they risk the majority vocally denouncing them; similar to how Nazi's remain a minority regardless to their whining).
There are of course exceptions to that. Terrorism for instance often seeks to make changes through actions, since their ideals are often shunned by the majority.
For the most part, the opinion of a minority does little to hinder the majority on matters of raw like and dislike. Even games like GTA, that's opposing minority are often the majority among many circles, continues to be released and enjoyed by millions in most countries. You can imagine how little power an actual "proper" minority have, especially when their reasons for disliking it are relatively trivial.
Sorry for not being clearer in what i meant ^^;
