Why can nobody read on the internet

2016 release only for the chip, it must be the dev kit and a year latter will follow for the consumer versions

i think in the end of 2016 or early 2017 we will see the official news, and then early 2017 or end of 2017 we will see the console release. But i have a feeling this will be for 2018.

Firstly it says introduced. Thar means it likely wont release until 2017, which aligns with the 3DS successor. One of the processors is an ARM, and they didn't say which was for gaming.

Consoles always get introduced at E3 right? ( I may be wrong on that) but Nintendo devices always launch in November right? (I also may be wrong on that) but combining both of these things suggests whatever it is, if it's from Nintendo, that it will launch November 2015.

why are you saying 2015 ??? isn't the tittle it self tell us that it will be release on 2016?

Uuuhh...that says introduced in 2016...

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Like I've said before in other threads, Wii U will go on strong through 2017. I bet they will announce it at E3 2017 and release it Holiday 2017, nothing in 2016 just because Nintendo loves its fans and does not want to piss us Wii U owners off after only 4 (3 really) solid years of gaming. 2016 should see the Wii U Metroid and perhaps the F-Zero or Mother we have been begging for.

The ONLY way I see Nintendo releasing this thing any earlier is if they somehow give current Wii U owners a cheap upgrade path or some other huge incentive to go to the new console. Otherwise they will be alienating and pissing off their die-hard fans.

The QoL is not a game console so it certainty isn't that. If the chip is being introduced in 2016 then by that point it could fit either the handheld, home console or both due to release a year or two after.

Its the next nintendo hand held guys. Holiday 2016, 5 and a half years after the 3ds launched. Makes perfect sense

Nice false title OP

Also, watch it be the Ouya 2

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850
