Forums - Gaming - So take Monolith Soft and out of the equation, who would you get to develop Xenosaga episode IV?

I intend on playing the rest of the series (after Symphonia of course ), but I was surprised to read all of this. It felt like no cared about Monolith or any of their IP until Xenoblade came out.

Xenoblade just introduced an entirely new audience. There have always been strong Xeno supporters though. How far are you in symphonia btw?

Atlus! They can certainly handle it. So long as sega doesn't come anywhere near it though.

I restarted on the PS3 version, so I'm not very far. I essentially left the tutorial town.

Do you guys mind using spoilers or staying in topic? There's people out there (like me), who haven't played Xenoblade or FF X (I own both and haven't touched them). And you're not even chatting about developing the fourth episode of Xenosaga... And you basically spoiled the inevitable and predictable endings of both games, but they were spoiled anyway!!!

Anyway, my pick would be a collab between tri-ace and tri-crescendo. Ace has Star Ocean under their belt, I'm currently playing The Last Hope, and the whole Sci-Fi thing is very well done. It also deals with themes kind of similar to religion, and all of that mature stuff.

Crescendo.. Eternal Sonata, Baten Kaitos, and FRAGILE DREAMS for gods sake!!! They know how to handle emotional and deep stories related to mature themes, plus Fragile has to be the most beautiful game ever made.

I say Tri-Ace and Tri-Crescendo WITH Yuki Kajiura helping soundtrack wise, and bang you have a masterpiece.

This would be another team I could see doing a very good job. Would the cost outweigh the profits by getting two dev teams together?

Well, we're being delusional with the Xbox One exclusive and 2.5 million copies sold... Why wouldn't Tri-Ace and Tri-Crescendo work together again in this scenario?

You make an excellent point, lol.

And this is why I wish Yuki Kajiura would work with them again: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JrBk3oZ2jc0

You'll never beat it :P

I played it for another 30 minutes today. Slowly but surely Soriku.
