I'm in with all the other people saying that the term "phablet" sounds fucktarded.

I have a 5S and a Mini 2 right now, so I didn't upgrade. Might look at it next year when the 6S+/7+ or whatever they decide to call their 2015 refresh comes out.

What is better on android in your opinion? I am an android user who WISHES Google would take some notes from iOS. iOS gives you better control over your personal data and privacy, better notification controls, faster updates rollouts, and up until recently, a much more visually pleasing experience. All those can be fixed if Google chooses to do so,I am on lollipop now and it's not an eye sore as kitkat was, so the visual experience isn't an issue for me anymore.

The permission list of each application I download is growing longer with each update, and if I don't like what data an application is accessing on my phone? Tough luck, the only option left for me is to not to download that certain app. Google needs to give android users the power to deny apps the ability to access everything that is stored on my phone.

Now for the "hard to be fixed" issue. That is Fragmentation, Nexus devices are the first ones to get updates but unfortunately, since very few people are using lollipop now, developers are not in a hurry to optimize apps for it. I am still waiting for two of my main communication apps to get updated to be fully compatible with lollipop, and until that happens, i'll have to open the app manually and check if someone called/texted. Not to mention, the disjointed visiual experience, jumping between apps that match lollipop look and feel and those who still match kitkat look and feel after months of android lollipop release 

Things I would miss if I moved to iOS? The photo gallery. It's too basic on iOS and it deseperately needs to be revamped. Not allowing third party keyboards on iOS was the main reason that pushed me away from the iPhone. But that's not an issue anymore. So yeah, What about you?


The user interface is horrible. There is no hard coded "back" button like in Android. Sometimes I have to go back by sliding the finger across the edge (doesnt work well often), but sometimes there is a special "back" icon somewhere on the screen - mostly on the top left where the thumb cannot reach well.

Overall, very unintuitive UI imo. But I guess it is about what one is used to.

May I ask why you didn't stick to same "eco system". I'm a phablet man myself nowadays, but if I wanted to go your route, I'd try to go all iOS or all Android, just to have a consistent experience across both,

Don't forget the Chinese manufacturers, those guys are exploding. Obviously they are going to be under-represented during Christmas, as the regions they sell to currently don't do Christmas in a big way.

Once that manufacturers start expanding into the West, though... daaaamn. And I see no reason why they wouldn't dominate. I have a OnePlus One, roughly the same specs as the LG G3 (biggest difference being that the G3 has a 4k screen, OPO has 1080p), and one third of the price.

Both systems have advantages and disadvantages. This way I get best of both worlds and I don't have to miss out on features or exclusive games only one device/system has.

Same here. Loving my 6+ so far. Now I don't have any reason to upgrade my ipad.
